Welcome to Skiven GuesthouseSkiven Guesthouse is located in the lower part of Fjellsiden (the hillside), a charming residential section of Bergen that has many wooden buildings and narrow cobblestoned streets. Skiven Guesthouse was built in 1896, originally as a house for several families. Since the 1970s the ground-floor rooms have been used to accommodation visitors. Skivebakken, the street where our guesthouse is located, is a quiet street without through traffic. It is said to be one of the most frequently painted streets in Bergen: here the artists have captured on canvas the charm of the lane and its views across nearby rooftops.
